Darren joined Rainier Partners in 2026 and is the Head of Finance.

Prior to Rainier, Darren was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he spent 19 years providing assurance services to asset and wealth management firms. Darren currently serves on the Board of the Seattle Alternative Investment Association. Darren received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and his Master’s in Professional Accounting from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.

Darren is a Pacific Northwest native, growing up just outside of Seattle, where he currently lives with his wife and two children. Darren is an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on his kids in all their endeavors, as well as his favorite Seattle teams. Darren lives for Seattle summers and you can likely find him and the family near, on, or in the water.
